IFOA KICKS OFF WITH A PEP RALLY AT RYERSON UNIVERSITY OCT. 18What: International Festival of Authors (IFOA) Pep RallyNorth America’s favourite book festival, the International Festival of Authors (IFOA) (October 19 to 30, 2011), kicks into high gear with a pep rally complete with pom-poms, cheering, authors, a Golden Ticket contest, more than 300 books to give away, and free The Walrus magazines.When: Tuesday, October 18, 201110am – 11amContest entries must be received in person at the intersection of Victoria and Gould Streets in downtown Toronto between the hours of 10am and 11am on Tuesday in order to be eligible for the Golden Ticket prize, which includes 2 tickets to the IFOA Welcome Party. You must provide a valid email address and/or phone number to be eligible to win.Where: Ryerson University, Intersection of Victoria and Gould StreetsWho: Authors on site include Elizabeth Abbott, Lauren B.
