Natrel® Rink closure advisory

Harbourfront Centre’s skating rinks close Sunday, March 13, 2011

TORONTO, ON (March 10, 2011) - Another season at Harbourfront Centre’s Natrel® Rink and Natrel® Kinder Rink is coming to a close this Sunday, March 13, 2011. It was a busy season crammed with fun-filled events and amazing celebrities. Some of the events included: DJ Skate Saturday Nights, the HarbourKIDS: SK8 festival weekend, HarbourKIDS Family Skating Party on Family Day, and of course, our popular Learn to Skate programmes.

Even though Toronto winter weather raged all season, the Natrel® Rink remained open and popular throughout, teaching almost 700 skaters in the 2010-11 Learn to Skate programme!

Harbourfront Centre played host to some incredible celebrity guests this season as well, including four-time world champion Canadian figure skater Kurt Browning, Olympic women’s hockey gold medalist Jayna Hefford, Team Canada sledge hockey star Greg Westlake and young Canadian figure skater Patrick Myzyk.

See you next year!
