Harbourfront Centre’s Adult Circus Camp is in town!
Circus classes run throughout the summer starting June 9

TORONTO, ON (May 11, 2010) – Don’t leave all the fun to the kids…go ahead and clown around! Learn to juggle, walk on stilts or brave the tight-wire at Circus Camp for Adults, part of Harbourfront Centre’s Courses & Workshops programme.

With guidance from professional aerialist Marsha Kennington, anyone can learn how to become a circus performer! As the principal instructor and the director of Harbourfront Centre’s various Circus Camps and the founder of Ontario’s first Circus School, Kennington’s past experience includes working with Cirque du Monde, the social action and global responsibility department of Cirque du Soleil and The Banff Centre of the Arts.

With two sessions to choose from, participants will quickly develop basic circus skills in a fun and safe environment. All classes are held at Toronto’s scenic Coronation Park, located on Lake Shore Boulevard at the foot of Strachan Avenue, just south of the Princess Gates in circus tents.

Session One: Six Wednesdays ($30 per class or $150 for six weeks)
June 9, 16, 23, 30 & July 7, 14
6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
