Harbourfront Centre’s NextSteps 2009-10 Season Announced

TORONTO, ON (August 25, 2009) – Harbourfront Centre is excited to announce the NextSteps 09|10 line-up, another unrivalled season of globally inspired dance performances from September, 2009 through May, 2010. Entering its fourth year, NextSteps is without parallel in the city and enables Toronto’s pre-eminent dance companies the opportunity to reflect the diversity of their broad international backgrounds and influences.

NextSteps offers Toronto audiences access to a selection of productions at the forefront of contemporary dance and responds to the creative spirit in Toronto and Canada, with a series of works that cross creative disciplines and boundaries.

NextSteps 09|10 will showcase more than 23 companies, with a range of new works including no fewer than eight world premieres, and the return of several perennial favourites at Harbourfront Centre’s two world class venues, the Fleck Dance Theatre and Enwave Theatre.
