An Enthralling Season of Dance Continues through June as Toronto’s Finest Companies take to the Stages at Harbourfront Centre with Diverse Works

TORONTO, (January 14, 2009) Harbourfront Centre's NextSteps 08|09 dance season continues in the new year with more outstanding works from Toronto’s pre-eminent dance companies. With an incredible range of leading choreographers and top dancers, NextSteps enables Toronto’s dance community the opportunity to showcase the diversity of their broad international backgrounds and influences.

The NextSteps season returns January 23, 2009 and runs through June 20, 2009. From the assorted works of Dance Ontario’s Dance Weekend, to the world premiere of Dancemaker’s latest offering, NextSteps arrives in 2009 with a bang and continues its momentum with offerings from Zata Omm, The Chimera Project and many other stunning performances.

The Enwave Theatre and the newly refurbished Fleck Dance Theatre, celebrating 25 years as Toronto’s leading stage for contemporary dance, remain the venues for NextSteps.
