Harbourfront Centre's DJ Skating Nights return to the Natrel Rink with five free events this Winter

Harbourfront Centre's popular DJ Skating Nights return for a third year with a deeper groove on DJ skating. This Winter 2007/2008 features five exciting free events beginning with Exclaim! magazine ( presenting a night of Rock, Punk and Post-Punk music with DJs Daryl Deal, Wesley J Ramos and Dougie Boom on Friday December 14. The DJ Skating Nights continue in 2008 with Promise DJs Mel Boogie, Benjamin Boles and Ben Marchal spinning Disco and House on Friday January 11, 2008. Nocturnal Magazine returns on Friday January 25 with Techno and House DJs Andy Reid, Simon Jain and Matt Shaw.

On Friday February 8, 2008 CKLN Radio 88.1 FM ( will have DJs and CKLN Hosts Chocolate, Mel Boogie, Curtis Smith & ODJ spinning Funk and Soul. The series ends on Friday February 29 with Earwaks's Hip-Hop DJs Agile, Teelo and Marmalade. Hosted by Wan Luv ( All events are free and for all ages. All DJ Skating Nights begin at 8 p.m. and end at 11 p.m. Natrel will be providing free hot chocolate at each event.

Complementing the DJ Skating Nights is CBC Radio 3's first ever live recording of its top 30 Canadian Indie Music countdown The R3-30. Join host Craig Norris and producer Pedro Mendes on Saturday January 26, 2008 from 7 p.m. as they spin the hottest tunes in the nation ( Participants at this event can also win a Sirius Satellite Radio (and a six month subscription package) through The Wheel of Freedom prize emancipator!

The Natrel Rink is located at 235 Queen's Quay West, Toronto and provides skate rentals, sharpening, change rooms and locker services.
