At a campaign event in Toronto this morning, Mr. Harper announced that, if elected, a Conservative government would maintain Harbourfront Centre’s current level of funding and that it would also make a multi-year commitment to sustain the organization over the longer term.“We welcome today’s announcement of a long-term commitment to Harbourfront Centre,” said Ms. Akande. “Multi-year funding, at appropriate levels, is what we know is required to secure a brighter future for Toronto’s favourite waterfront attraction.
