World’s Only Slytherin House Party at Harbourfront Centre!

Toronto, July 4, 2005-International Readings at Harbourfront Centre and Mabel’s Fables Bookstores are pleased to present the world’s only Slytherin House Party, celebrating the launch of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. This fabulous free event takes place on the eve of the book’s launch, Friday, July 15 in Lakeside Terrace, 235 Queens Quay West from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. The evening will feature D.J.’s, dancing, celebrity readings and a performance by Toronto indie-pop queens Magneta Lane.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is perhaps the most anticipated release of the 2005 publishing season and Harbourfront Centre is the place to pick up your copy. Mabel’s Fables is currently offering Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince for pre-sale at two Toronto locations, 662 Mt. Pleasant Rd. and 2939 Bloor St. West. Muggles with a pre-purchased HP6 coupon will be able to pick up their books at the Slytherin House Party beginning at the stroke of midnight.
