NEW TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR PEN CANADA BENEFIT AT THE IFOATORONTO, October 18, 2013 — A new block of tickets to the sold-out PEN Canada Benefit with Stephen King and his son Owen King will be released today, Friday, October 18, at 1pm. These tickets are accessible by calling the Harbourfront Centre Box Office at 416-973-4000 or by visiting www.ifoa.org. The event takes place on the opening night of the International Festival of Authors, Thursday, October 24, at 8pm in the Fleck Dance Theatre at 207 Queens Quay West. Tickets to the event are $100 with all proceeds going to PEN Canada.Stephen King will present his new novel, Doctor Sleep, which returns to the characters and the territory of The Shining, including the now middle-aged Dan Torrance. Owen King will present his debut novel, Double Feature, which explores the creative life and the complicated relationship between a B-movie actor and his filmmaking son. New York Times-bestselling novelist Andrew Pyper will moderate their discussion.
