Harbourfront Centre and CIBC announce four-year partnership

TORONTO, ON (April 19, 2012) Harbourfront Centre, Toronto’s innovative not-for-profit arts and culture organization, and CIBC today announced a four-year presenting partnership from 2012 through to 2015.

Starting this summer, CIBC will present five of Harbourfront Centre’s most popular festivals: Canada Day: Going Global (June 29-July 2); Hot & Spicy Food Festival: 15th Anniversary (July 20-22); Island Soul (Aug. 3-6); Vietnamese Lantern Festival (Sept. 15) and Fortune Cooking (Sept. 16).

This multi-year relationship with CIBC will not only help support Harbourfront Centre programming, but will also give CIBC the opportunity to engage with local and international communities, as well as provide volunteer opportunities for their employees while on-site.

In addition to the five partnered festivals programmed with CIBC’s generous support, Harbourfront Centre presents more than 20 FREE festivals and events during its summer season featuring local and international programming for children, youth and adults. From Victoria Day long weekend through to Thanksgiving, Harbourfront Centre offers many opportunities for Torontonians and visitors alike to discover “The World in One Place” through unique cultural programming at some of the biggest and best cultural festivals in the world!
