Advisory: Harbourfront Centre’s DJ Skate Night extended!

TORONTO, ON (Feb. 14, 2012) Harbourfront Centre’s popular DJ Skate Night series has been extended! The 2012 DJ Skate Night season was scheduled to end on Feb. 18 with an all-female hip hop showcase featuring DJ MelBoogie & JJ Rock of DD Radio, but on Feb. 25, Harbourfront Centre presents one last DJ Skate Night with CIUT’s DJ medicineman.

Initially scheduled for a January appearance, DJ medicineman is set to transform the Natrel® Rink into a fusion of sound that focuses on electro-swing backed by modern electronic beats. This skate party takes place on Saturday, Feb. 25 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

As Canada's most highly respected global fusion tastemaker and DJ, Richard ‘DJ medicineman’ Martin will spin skaters around the world with a mix of global groove, world beat and ethno-electro hits.

DJ Skate Night is a part of Harbourfront Centre’s SKATE CULTURE programme that celebrates Canada’s winter culture. All SKATE CULTURE events take place on the beautiful Natrel® Rink located along the scenic shores of Lake Ontario at 235 Queens Quay W., in the heart of Toronto’s downtown waterfront.
