A. Bennett, who is a long-standing member of the publishing world as the one-time owner of McClelland & Stewart Ltd., will remain on the Board of Directors as a chair emeritus.

"Taking on the role of President of the AUTHORS Board for the past nine years has been both challenging and rewarding. I am proud to be part of the process that has seen the Festival grow, both in size and in scope over those years, and I am confident Charlie Baillie will not only continue this process, but find new ways to reach and serve our diverse audience," said Bennett.
